Cobourg - Our farm is a fourth generation Christmas tree farm. We have White Spruce, Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce and a limited number of Balsam Fir. There are also pre-cut trees, Scotch Pine, Blue Spruce, Fraser and Balsam fir. We have red dogwood, boughs, and fresh Cedar garland and will do custom orders. The Family Fun Farm which includes our petting zoo, a tractor, plane and bulldozer to play on, and our interpretative walking trail are available every day. On the weekends there are festive campfires. Weather permitting, we have weekend tractor wagon rides. See our website for special events and to prebook your visit to the Family Fun Farm. Bowmanville, - Powell Tree's established in 1980 We have cut your own and pre cut trees. All cut your own trees are $75.We grow Scots and white pine, spruce, balsam and fraser fir. The trees are carefully sheared and are very full and deep green. We are always open, we live right here. We will sell trees from November to Dec.24th. The trees are very close to the parking area. Many reasonable priced Christmas crafts, honey,and bees wax candles are for sale. The property is 25 acres of hilly interesting landscape, great for sledding and walking. To find our farm go East on 401 to Bowmanville Ave.(formerly Hwy 57). Exit 431 to Bowmanville. Go north on Bowmanville Ave.(formerly Hwy 57) about 20 kms then turn right-east on Durham Rd. #20. We are just east of Omemee, close to Emily Provincial Park and only about 20 minutes from either downtown Lindsay or Peterborough. We offer White Spruce, Norway Spruce, Scotch Pine and Balsam Fir. We have trees from 4’ to over 20’. Our farm does not use harmful pesticides or herbicides. We practice farming methods that maintain a living ground cover which is grazed by sheep to drastically reduce mowing. All visitors are treated to your choice of complimentary hot chocolate or apple cider. Browse our treats and gifts or just warm up by the fire in our Cozy Shack.
